Labyrinths

A labyrinth is not to be confused with a maze. You can't get lost in a labyrinth. It has only one path which takes you both in and out. Anyone can benefit from following the sacred and archetypal space of the labyrinth.

I have walked several labyrinths, including one set outdoors in the Hill Country of Texas, delineated with white stones from the river; and the one at the church of the Transfiguration in Dallas, Texas, made of beautiful terrazzo marble. The ancient practice of walking the labyrinth has been re-revealed to our time as a way of finding God, finding answers, finding release. We find them within ourselves.

How to walk the sacred path

  1. The inward walk clears the mind and heart

  2. Pause at the center; unite with God and receive His love and wisdom

  3. Bring inspiration to the world as you walk back out
